Use of Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils is Very Useful in Labor and Delivery.

I have found that in a home birth, birth center, or hospital setting, the use of essential oils energetically stabilizes a room.  The Doctor(s), midwife, nurses, support team, partner, and laboring mother all feel the effects of the oils.  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the use of essential oils during labor.

To Name just a few:

Clary Sage: The go-to essential oil for labor and delivery.  It helps with dilation.

Geranium:  Another go-to essential oil for labor.  Helps with progression.

Valor:  A Young Living essential oil blend.  The word "valor" means "great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle."  Valor gives a laboring woman the courage she needs to face any fears she has in birth.

Believe:  A Young Living essential oil blend.  Just as the name states, it encourages a laboring woman to believe in herself.

Joy:  A Young Living blend that works wonders postpartum.  This oil helps with postpartum baby blues and depression.

Ylang Ylang:  A very calming and relaxing essential oil.  This oil is great for being diffused in a birthing room!

Lavender:  A very calming and relaxing essential oil.  This oil is great for being diffused in a birthing room!

Emotional oil blends:  There are many emotional oil blends.  A few are named above, but there are MANY more.  These oils help with "surrendering" to the labor, "believing" that you can do it, courage, "releasing" any pent up fears that may be stalling labor, etc.

I also have to stress the importance of the QUALITY of the essential oils you decide to use.  I ONLY use Young Living Essential Oils on myself and my family.  I have found drastic differences between Young Living and other companies.

If you'd like to purchase any essential oils, you can either order through me or go to www.youngliving.com.  My distribution number is 1120251.
